If you want to learn more about the history of how our community got started, you can read about it in The Bible on the Border: How Fr. Rick and his friends learned to serve the poor of Mexico by taking God at His Word.
There is another book written by famed French theologian, Fr. Rene Laurentin, who visited the community in the early 1980’s and wrote up his reflections. This book is out of print but often there are used copies that can be found on Amazon.com or other used books websites.
